Golf As It Was Meant To Be Played
Dunwoody Country Club, designed in 1965 by Willard Byrd, has long been regarded as one of the top golf facilities in the southeast. Five sets of tees make the course versatile enough to allow players of all skill levels to find a course appropriate for their game. From the tips, the course plays 7,040 yards long. From the forward tees, the course length drops to 5,320 yards. The natural, rolling terrain features dramatic elevation changes, creating spectacular vistas. The mix of hardwood, tall Georgia pine and dogwood trees create a unique environment for golf. Four demanding par 3’s and four risk/reward par 5’s highlight the layout. The remaining par 4’s dogleg so much that only one green is visible from the tee on any of them. The undulating greens are very quick, demanding accuracy on approach shots, as well as the rest of your short game.
