Board of Governors 2026-2029 Nominations
The following biographies are of the four (4) Members chosen by the 2025-2026 Nominating Committee to serve on the Board of Governors for the 2026-2029 term. You will have the opportunity to vote on their service at the Annual Membership Meeting on Sunday, August 9, 2026.

BOARD OF GOVERNORS NOMINEES FOR 2026-2029
Brett Fennell
Brett is a Regular member, joining the Club in June of 2012. Brett and his wife, Jennifer, have two children: Griffin (26) and Bryce (21), both having grown up participating in DCC activities. Brett graduated from Bucknell University in Lewisburg, PA with a degree in Economics. And after working for T. Rowe Price in Baltimore, MD, moved to Atlanta in 1994 to obtain his MBA from Emory University. He joined Cox Communications in 2002 and spent the next 20+ years in Finance and Operations roles across the Cox portfolio of companies. His most senior positions included SVP of Finance at Cox Automotive and EVP, CFO of Cox Media Group. Brett retired from Cox at the end of 2024 and he, along with Jennifer are active at the club in golf, wellness and social activities. He currently serves on the Finance Committee.
Kendall Kratzenberg
Ken is a Regular Member, joining the Club in April of 1994. Ken and his wife, Christine, have two grown children, Kellie (30) and Jack (28). Jack is currently on the DCC waitlist as a Legacy Member. Ken has a BS in Business Administration and Economics from Winona State University. Ken retired from The Coca-Cola Company in 2018 after a thirty-five year career including serving as a Vice President of Sales for Coca-Cola North America. Ken and his family have lived in Dunwoody since 1995. Ken has served on various Committees including Golf, Grounds, Membership, Youth/Aquatics, Nominating, and the Board of Governors. He and his family enjoy all aspects of the club, but are most focused on golf, wellness, dining and social events.
Brian Whelan
Brian is a Regular Member joining in March 2006. Brian and his wife, Libby, have two children: Brian, Jr. (35) and Alexandra (32) and four grandsons. Alex is currently on the DCC waitlist as a Legacy Member. Brian received his BBA in Accountancy and MBA from the University of Notre Dame. Brian has spent 30+ years in the commercial banking industry and is currently a SVP at HomeTrust Bank serving privately owned businesses primarily in Metro Atlanta. Brian is a Past President of DCC 2011-2012, and Committee service includes Finance, Long Range Planning, Membership, Grounds, Nominating and Search for the Director of Agronomy. Brian and Libby actively utilize all aspects of the club. More recently they can be found poolside with their grandsons most summer weekends after a grueling morning of golf.
Jay Wicklund
Jay is a Regular member who grew up at Dunwoody Country Club and joined with his wife, Michelle, in 2002. They have two children: Walker (25) and Quinn (23) who also grew up at DCC participating in swimming, golf and tennis. A 1997 graduate of the United Stated Naval Academy with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. After college, he served on active duty in the US Navy Civil Engineer Corps for five years. In 2013, Jay and two business partners founded Trident Construction Group, where he is the President. Trident focuses on commercial construction and more specifically, healthcare related construction projects. He holds an unrestricted General Contractor’s in GA, AL, SC, NC, TN, FL and AZ. He served on the Board of Governors, the Membership, Long Range Planning, Golf, Grounds, House, Tennis and the Youth/Aquatics Committees and twice on the Nominating Committee. He and Michelle enjoy playing golf and participating in the club social activities.

Jaime Alfaro & Jesus Martinez
The Club is pleased to recognize Mr. Jaime Alfaro and Mr. Jesus Martinez as our Co‑Employees of the Month for February 2026.
During a critical period this past year, both gentlemen assumed additional responsibilities by temporarily stepping into a management role for more than four months. Throughout this time, they demonstrated exceptional professionalism, reliability, and leadership. Their efforts ensured that all daily grounds operations continued seamlessly, with every detail—from routine maintenance to administrative paperwork—handled with precision and care.
Mr. Alfaro and Mr. Martinez also provided steady guidance and support to the grounds team, maintaining our high standards without interruption. Their dedication to the Club and commitment to operational excellence reflect the very best of our service values.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Jaime and Jesus for their remarkable contributions and congratulate them on this well‑deserved recognition.

We are proud to recognize Eilish and Kadie as our Co‑Employees of the Month for January 2026!
Throughout the past year, both Eilish and Katie stepped up in remarkable ways—taking on manager responsibilities for several months during the mid-year period and doing so with professionalism, patience, and a genuine commitment to the team. Their leadership didn’t stop there. As we entered the busy holiday season, they continued to give countless hours to ensure operations ran smoothly and without incident.
Their dedication, work ethic, and steady presence have made an extraordinary impact on our team’s success. January was the perfect moment to acknowledge their ongoing contributions and the exceptional effort they have put in.
